Summary | 894 African swine fever epidemics occurred worldwide in July

 
Foodmate News: according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs release of African swine fever epidemic prevention and control information, foodmate made an incomplete statistics, 894 African swine fever outbreak occurred in July, of which there are 285 pigs cases, wild boar 609 cases, accounting for 68.1%.

The countries involved in the African swine fever epidemic in July are Vietnam, Romania, Myanmar, South Korea, Russia, Poland, Latvia, Hungary, Ukraine, South Africa, and China. Among them, Poland, Vietnam, and Hungary ranked the top three, with 348, 181, and 177 cases respectively.


These announced African swine fever epidemics occurred on July 3, 9, 12, 14, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 30, and 31. Among them, the number of outbreaks was the largest on July 3, with 206; followed by the date of July 12 and July 14, there were 194 and 151 cases of African swine fever respectively.


It is understood that until July 31, since 2020, there have been 1,537 cases of domestic pigs and 6,562 cases of wild boars in 24 countries and regions around the world, a total of 8,099 cases of African swine fever.
